Over the past two weeks, the weather here in the New York Metropolitan Area, has been very mild. Here on Long Island, the temperatures have been in the 40s. Now that has changed. Before sunrise yesterday morning, snow was falling. It wasn't much. Just about an inch on the lawns and walkways. The same thing happened today, and the pavements were easily plowed by the maintenance guys. One problem is the temperatures were in the twenties, but that wasn't the only problem.
I had to go outside, walking to the nearby shopping center, to get food at the Stop and Shop supermarket. The problem for me is that I have to wear my worn-down old boots, making my feet very cold.
What's really troubling is the weather report, warning that tomorrow morning, the wind chill will be around 08 degrees, farenheit, making it just too dangerous to spend any time outside.
I took care of that, both yesterday and this morning. At the Stop & Shop I purchased more than enough to last through the entire week. That included more than the usual items.
For lunch, I had Yellowstone Dutton Family BBQ Meatloaf and Mashed potatoes topped with cheddar cheese, and gravy.
It looks like I'll be getting through the week okay. I ask for everyone's prayers, that things will continue to be okay, for every member of Christian writers.com
