In theory, it does sound wonderful. I suppose it's good for my brain to figure out a new system. Do you happen to know how to delete a project that's gone badly wrong? lol

I watched a bunch of youtube videos on writing tools before buying mine. It came down between two: Scrivner and Ulysses. Everyone said the Scriver learning curve was burdensome. Ulysses was lean, distraction-free, and had great organizational options. I went with Ulysses.

It's for Apple devices only. Macs, ipads, iphones. So if you're a PC person, then this is not an option.

But I love it. I wrote my first novel on it (120k words, in the editing phase). I journal on it. I keep my study notes and blog posts on it. It's worth investigating if you're an apple person.

I remember learning about it in a writing course I took, but unfortunately I don't really recall many details about it.

Has anyone used Scrivener?
I love Scrivener so much that I moved over from Windows to MacOS just to use Scrivener in its native format. (The Windows version is fine, and they sell more copies of the software there, but I wanted to kick the tires on a new Mac, and this gave me a compelling reason to switch.)

That's nice to hear Johne. I did discover Lauren Kay and a few others yesterday. Score! lol. I had to give myself the advice and encouragement I gave my youngest recently (she is learning to drive), "Just get layer by layer locked into muscle memory".
