Please pray for my wife, Bettina. We received bad news from a routine medical exam today that is unrelated to and in addition to the other health issues she has already suffered in the past year. To respect her privacy, I will not say what the news was, but it is deeply concerning and will require surgery.

Thank you for your prayers. The test results just came back. My wife has an invasive cancer. She goes to Boston on Tuesday to meet the doctor and make a treatment plan. I don't know what else to say. I have felt close to the Lord lately due to good things. Now I am relying on him to be even closer due to the bad.
