(or the latest one,as I am sure there will be more) So I sent my book to a friend in Arizona to be proofread. Wonderful thing with the internet, One Drive and Word is I can make her a folder and she can edit the files and I can see the edits the same day. I was going through the edited files and I have a cliffhanger, a story I started in 2015, I got to the middle of the story and saw her edit (there is no more story after this).
Now I have to try and think of what I was thinking back then when I started a story about a potluck to celebrate a pastor's 5 years serving his church. And I have to figure out what Bible story I was trying to illustrate. I might just relate the celebration to Isiah chapter 55.

Seven years is a long time to hold onto an idea for a story. But you'll come up with something.

My first novel I started in 1998 and finished the rough draft in 2004

It finally went to print in 2020, some 22 years after it was started!

Never give up on a great writing idea!!

I typically have a few novels going at once. It is one of the ways I beat writers block. If one novel slows I just bounce to the other

Right now I have 3 novels in process. Two are about half done and the other about 10 percent

I just reread portions of the book before I start writing again

If it works for you, then go for it. I have three unpublished, but they are "finished." I need to get them moving in the publishing process.

I have kept busy writing, at work when doing security I wrote coloring books. An idea would come and I would see it in my mind and then on paper.
