I've had some issues with my self published book at Barnes and Noble. 3 different times, it went live when all I did was update the inside matter of the book. After the 3rd time, I'm completely certain I didn't click the wrong button. The first time it happened I put in a ticket. This was a month ago and I'm still waiting to hear back from them.
Yesterday I flipped the switch on Amazon to go live and it went great. But on Barnes and Noble it keeps changing it to a preorder. I put in a ticket almost 24 hours ago and received an automated message which is worded in a way that I may not receive actual help. It just says, "here are some links that could help" (and they didn't). No promise that anyone else will contact me.
I did a bit of research and it appears both of these issues are known and have been around for quite a while.
I'm beginning to think I don't want to risk something bad happening on their end and there is no one to resolve the issues. Does anyone have any recent experience with them as a self publisher? Looks like if I do nothing, the books might go live in January, but I wonder if I should cancel and delete with them.
