Was something overlooked, the unbelievers ask?
Did God fail to do something correctly the first time?
Why do we need to be born again as Jesus said?
Am I saved, they ask, saved from what?
These are all questions some of the lost ask
before asking Jesus to come and be their Lord and Savior.
I know this because I used to ask these very questions!
When I look back at my unsaved state, I shudder!
Born again or born twice, is that one time acceptance conversation from your true heart
that takes place between yourself and the Lord.
Being saved means being saved from ultimate destruction after you leave this earth.
To be sure destruction never happens to you,
is to first be brought inward to repent
or turn the opposite direction from your previous lifestyle of sins.
We then ask Jesus,
who is perfect in every way,
to accept us as His child.
If we are truly sincere about this,
we are then assured and secured for eternal Heaven with Jesus.
