This is a map drawn in response to voting in the last election.

This is drawn by cynics who stand out against Christianity yet, they have to admit that they keep coming up against Christians when they try to pass a radical agenda.

Christianity is still a HUGE part of America. And I live in Michigan - not a part of the Jesus Land map - and there are more like me here.

The minority would like you to believe that they have taken over, that the science will erase God, that we are all primitives and horrible people.

What they do not realize is that we protect America by prayer, worshipping God, interceding for our leaders, and by living as statesmen - good citizens.

We labor hours on our knees. We go that 2nd mile for strangers. We love on lost people. This is the spiritual fabric that holds America together.

We observe many biblical laws that keep curses out of our homes, towns, states, etc.

Jesus Land is a reality acknowledged by our adversaries. They can't get around it, so they mock it.

Write to encourage Christians on the front lines that they are not alone. They are the majority.

Three large cities do not make up America (LA, NYC, DC) They are a decimal. Jesus Land is America.

In addition - How about writing to reach those who are part of the so-called Untied States of Canada? We as Christians can develop a tendency to focus a little too much on stopping this minority, defining an "us verses them" mentality. We can become insular and lose sight of our great commission to reach out to "them."
 
I have to disagree. True Biblical disciples of Christ are not the majority and have never been so. There is a stark difference between true Christians and cultural Christians, and cultural Christians, especially in western society where comfort and ease and religious freedom, are the majority.

The Bible says straight is the gate and narrow is the way that leads to life ever lasting, and God has described His people as being a remnant in many places. The children of God have never been a majority over the subjects of the prince of this world.

If true Biblical Christians are the majority, then something is seriously wrong with how they pray and worship God because the state of our society today is completely opposite of what God seems good and wholesome. In fact, I see our society today as a real life demonstration of Roman’s chapter 1 and we are reliving Judges where everyone is doing right in our own eyes.

I know that God will prevail and all will be made right, but God also tells us that until His return, things are going to wax worse and worse, as we see it around us.

That’s not to say that we should quit; we should be fervent in prayer in season and out of season, growing in Christ and building our faith and striving to be mature, strong biblical Christians while working to reach the lost all around us. But let’s do this with our eyes open to reality and not through a Christian rose colored view of the world. We don’t let Satan defeat us or discourage us because of the prolific evil in this world, but don’t let him either convince us that this world isn’t nearly so bad either as not acknowledging what is before our eyes means we cannot counter it or engage with it effectively.

"Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. [14] For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.
 
I think it’s important to remember that Jesus clearly stated “My kingdom is not of this world.” While there may be certain worldly systems or governments that are more conductive to peaceful co-existence with His followers than others, I don’t believe that means we can expect to ever achieve political dominance, or even should consider that a desirable outcome…

A closer view of this map will reveal (in addition to a veeeery faint outline of Mexico) pinpricks and pockets of “Jesusfreakistanis” scattered fairly evenly throughout Jesusland and the United States of Canada.

I do very much agree with this! Nowhere does Christ or the apostles ever command us to take over the government or try to bring about God’s kingdom on earth. In fact, we are commanded to be submissive to the government, pay our taxes, and respect those in authority.

That’s not to say that we should not participate in government because voting is vital in maintaining our freedom of religion and ability to worship freely. But never in history has any attempt to force people by law to follow religious ideals has ever worked.

This sounds very encouraging. However, I have yet to find any magazine that I believe I can submit to.

It seems to me that the Biblical Christians need to pray for strength and discernment to witness to those in society who don't know God.

In Jermiah chapter 11, God tells the Israelite people that they will be in captivity for 70 years. He also tells them to work in the Babylonian community and allow their families to grow. My thought on this command is God wanted the Israelites to leave Babylon in a better state than what they found it and at the same time take care of their families.
 
Thanks, C.W., for sharing your thoughts on this subject. As others have said, we are just visitors. Many people are deceived in the USA. Prosperity Gospel, Progressive Christianity, and the Deconstruction of faith are increasing. Marriage is on the decrease, and divorce is on the rise. Many young people have no clue about God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit. The US government has turned away from God and advocates for evil laws. God has exposed the corruption, which shows in the way of lawlessness. I'm grateful that God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit have provided discernment. Some Christians are working for God's goodness; as others have said, we need to reach out and share the Gospel with others. I have to remind myself that Western Society is part of the world. Peace and love to you all.

"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely,
whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things."

Sure, Jesus Land in America is somewhat over-estimated. But our negative mindset has to change. That map was drawn by God indirectly to encourage us that He is still here. He has revealed Himself to us. I am a pastor. I know that perhaps only 1 in 4 of my church may make heaven. Still I pour out my heart to them. I appeal to them earnestly, as I appeal to you.

We often think long on the bad, we dwell on the negative, we focus on the faults.

To quote a movie, "Don't look at the problem. Look at me!"[Jesus] See that He uses big things like this to wake up his Church.

Think of all the potential good this has.

Every time in the bible, heroes faced impossible odds, God intervened and gave them victory.

Hear the end of my post up there - America is not 3 major cities. It is all the God-fearing earnest hardworking people between them.
Travel around. The Cross still stands over Ohio, Virginia, Georgia, Florida, basically any part of "the South", Texas. Christians are majority in the sense of values. Court rooms and law still are based upon biblical principles. A majority of people still want weddings in churches. Social sciences and human history still trace roots back to the Bible. Languages are still Bible-based. Inheritance, estates, families, godparents, holidays, politics all still are rooted in the Bible.

That is good news.

We are experiencing this here in Ohio with Issue one. Currently it takes 50% of the counties to get an issue on ballot to change the state constitution and 50% plus 1 vote to make it law. Issue one requires signatures from all 88 counties and a 60% yes vote to make the change. This way the big 3 cities will not control the laws. There is major opposition for this issue coming in from out of state with big money advertising against it.
