My name is Jim and I'm a retired diesel mechanic and quite honestly glad to be out of that. The reason for my nick 'Muckah is because I'm an old 4wheeler from way back.

About 3 years ago, disgruntled with 'Christianity and barely hanging onto my faith, I took my website down and have yet to resurrect it.  I don't write very well, and my grammar is so-so.  I'm likely going to bring it back in a month or two.  So I joined to maybe get a little insight.

Thanks for accepting me.

Note:  After clicking on the validation email it took a while for the page to load - like 3 minutes.  Not sure why.

Welcome to our writing family, Jim. Glad you joined us. I pray you have or are regaining your faith. So sorry about the delay. Must have been a glitch in the system. You'll find plenty of help, support, and encouragement around here, so roam around and make yourself at home. Blessings on your writing! 😃

Welcome to the community. If you ever want to talk about anything I'm open to a discussion on any subject. I am also happy to share any insights I have learned through my writing journey.

Welcome! I took a break from writing, but as continue to exercise the old typing muscles and read more of other people's works and read on articles on how to write, I believe I'm going to improve over the long run.

Glad to see you here.

Howdy, howdy! 🙂 Nice to have you here! What are your favorite sweets? 😄

I also take breaks here and there.  I have enough for a book but doubt I'll ever publish one. My writing interest are centered around eschatology.  The reason I wrote about it is because I'm in much disagreement with the teachings of so called 'prophecy experts'. Examples of things I disagree with are Dispensationalism, Pretribulation-ism, and the thinking that the Revelation 13 and 17 beast represent the same thing as Daniel 7's fourth 'terrible and dreadful' beast.

A few interesting things about the harmonica.

It's the smallest instrument in the world.

It's the only instrument you can't see while you're playing it.

It's the only wind instrument you breath in and out to play it.

It's one of two wind instruments in the world that you can play chords on. The other is a melodica.

That's not me in the pic.  That's British blues legend John Mayall.
