God's word is life and this life also is the light of God, His word fills a man with light, for the entrance of His word brings light. The more we consume God's word, the more we become full of His life, it is the abundance of His life in us that illuminates as a glorious light radiating from our spirit man.
For one who has not yet being clothed in the fullness of God, this light only illuminates, for instance; through the eyes and mouth in the spiritual, the face of the righteous shines like the sun. However, if only the eyes and mouth for example gives off light because every other part of the body is veiled by the flesh. Such a man won't be able to light up a territory of darkness.
The flesh also is a spirit, our physical flesh is interwoven with the spirit of the flesh, the flesh is weakness brought about by the downfall of man, it is limitations of a man that hinders him from walking in line with the God. For us to walk with God we must filled with His life to be equally yoked with Him else we'll breakdown. If we wear too much flesh, if we are loaded with flesh, we won't be clothed in God's spirit, not being fully clothed in God’s spirit hinders us from functioning with God to the fullest.
God will never entrust much to a born again still loaded with the flesh, because if he ploughs the field with God, the power that comes from the God will drag that man in the dirt of the field, because he is not yet compatible to carry the weightiness of God's glory. Being unequally yoked with God will end up destroying the field, there won't be any work done and the man himself will be destroyed being dragged around by one he's not compactable with. God wouldn't want this, that's why he only choses the few who have dethroned the flesh.
The flesh defies the things of God, it causes a man to struggle in the things of God, the flesh could be; comfort of the flesh, earthly ambitions, anything that hinders you from suffering for God, anything that causes you to relent in God's spiritual activities are flesh.
I won't go in too deep here, but we should know that we cannot fulfil God's project in our lives if we're still bound to the flesh, nobody fight this for you, here you can't pray your way out of it, the holy spirit just tells you what to do, He gives you burdens to attend to, all you have to do is yield and sacrifice to dethrone the flesh, then you'll manifest the power of God.
The flesh is like a wrap, it seals up the glory of God in a man, when the fleshly barrier is destroyed then you'll be wrapped and interwoven with the spirit of God, when you speak, you speak with power, when you touch a broken man, you're no longer the one touching him, but the spirit of God that has clothed your entire being, bringing a transformation and transfers of life. You can never cast out demons if you're still in the flesh, never! Just keep your mouth shut, else they'll deal you for trying to pretend you've been given authority.
God only uses broken men, the flesh hinders and restricts the manifestation of God in a man. We must crucify the flesh, being dead to the cross daily to be alive and clothed in the spirit of God.
The biggest flesh a man would dare to overcome as Apostle Arome Osayi would say is " ambitions," that's why upon all the fasting and prayers only few men are elected and ordained by God at the end, because only few were willing to cast their earthly ambitions into the fire.
The lives we're living it's not ours, the earthly things our certificates, jobs, are all vanity, they're just there to put food in our stomach. But the moment you walk in alignment with God, He reveals Himself to you, then you'll know that the earth is the Lord and it's fullness thereof.
When you crucify your flesh to become a dead man, the day God will impact you with His spirit, all other things will follow, also the dimensions of heaven will be manifested on earth through you as a medium just like breathing. You then work for God's kingdom, no longer for the government or for men, in due time you'll be rewarded greatly by God both on earth and in God's kingdom also, because our eternity starts here on earth.
