Poetry Gave Us Breath

Breath,
We pull it into our lungs,
it keeps these bodies alive.
Breath,
Jesus gave us all,
our first one,
it came from His perfect love.
He fore knew us,
and formed us,
as His power and omnipotence,
had planned to do this for us.
He instilled in us,
the power of free will,
in the hopes,
that we would,
return our love to Him and accept Him,
to fall on our knees before Him,
and worship Him,
as our only righteous King.
