Finished Project and a Question

Hi Everybody, hope you are all doing well.

I finished this project recently and had a nice write-up of one chapter in Worship Musician Magazine. Because of the exposure in this magazine, I was approached by a brother in Korea asking if I could translate it into Korean as he feels it would benefit the church there. He wants to do a write-up on it for the Korean version of the magazine. I'd love to do this and help those called to Christian Music worldwide. The problem is that I have no
idea how to translate the book.

You all always have insightful thoughts and great experience so I'm bouncing it by you. Appreciate any ideas or pointers
you might have.

Thanks ... I Thought about it but I've heard that AI will change it and take my voice away from it. For fun, I ran a chapter
through Google Translate to Korean and then back to English. It came out very strange. Course I don't know if the English to
Korean translation worked properly
 
Yeah, I'm sure there are subtleties that AI can't pick up. If you have a college in your town, check with the language department and see if they know of anyone willing to translate for you. I did find this...

To find someone to translate a book into another language, you can: search online freelance platforms like Reedsy, Upwork, or Fiverr, specifically looking for translators who specialize in the target language and literary translation; contact a translation agency focused on book translations; reach out to professional organizations like the American Literary Translators Association (ALTA) to find qualified translators; or network with authors and publishers in your desired language; always ensuring the translator is a native speaker of the target language and has experience with literary translation.

Thanks ... some good avenues to pursue.
 
To what Lynn offered, I would suggest that one of the criteria for a translator for your book would be to have more than just a passing understanding of Christianity. There will be subtleties in your book that could be mistranslated that would change the message you are trying to convey.
