My faithful and caring family of Christian Writers! I hope that every one of you is doing as well as I am today. I am not only healed, but I am experiencing great joy and peace. King Jesus gave me what you all petitioned for... and more. There was a time when I would have still been paralyzed by the traumatic events of last Saturday night. But, today, after a really good night's sleep, a delicious meal, and a bowl of warm cookie dough brownie (with two scoops of vanilla ice cream): I am feeling REALLY refreshed and restored.
I have sought the Lord, twice, as to whether or not to continue the ministry of "Neighbor to Neighbor" evangelism and His response is still negative. One of my prayer partners has been trying to persuade me to not let it go, and her counsel has always been good. But, I have to obey my Lord because I am His servant and I cannot do otherwise. Amen?
I am sure that you all will never fully understand just how much your prayers and encouragement meant to my having such a "speedy" recovery. Even though we are writers, we have long accepted this truth: there are some things that we all will experience that can never be expressed with mere words.
That's why I have chosen the ones that we all have heard, at one time or another, that has meant the most when said at the most important times of our lives:
