What I saw on the News this morning, was that the Internet went off-line overnight. I thought it was just my own account. That I'd had everything frozen, and I had no idea what to do to get things working again.
When I turned on the TV News, I saw that the problem wasn't just mine. It's everybody's.
Now the internet looks like it's back on-line; but I'm having problems with some of my connections and am going to be needing advice. I'm sure that other members of christianwriters.com are also in need of advice, while others are able to advise.
Now I ask those members who are able, to please let us know what we must do.
Thank you. In Jesus Name.

There's nothing you need to do except be patient. :) From what I understand, AWS, which supports many major sites, was having issues. Techs are aware of the issue and working to get it fully resolved.

William, if you are one that likes to watch late night television, then you may want to purchase a DVD player and check out the DVD_CD sections at various thrift stores. The last few times my internet service died, my granddaughter was still able to watch some of her favorite children's programs on DVDs. I enjoy westerns and other clean content, so I have seasons of LARAMIE, BONANZA, RIFLEMAN, WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE as well as episodes of WHEN CALLS THE HEART.

I have a good collection of classic movies like THE TEN COMMANDMENTS, BEN_HUR, and SAMSON along with other movies and movies downloaded on my old laptop. And, because I don't allow it to connect with the internet, all of the content that I was once able to download off of Amazon (before they stopped allowing it), I still can access. That means I got to keep my music collection without having to ask Alexa to go to my playlist.

William, if you don't already have a DVD player, let me encourage you to ask around to see if no one is using theirs. Or, just purchase one...they are very inexpensive these days. You can, also, play CDs on them. I do that all the time. Also, when was the last time you visited your local library?
Most of them have used books, DVDs, and CDs on sale in their Library Store. I found some real bargains and added some items to my collection that I enjoy even when my internet is not out! If you do any of these suggestions, you might just be amazed at how just having a "Plan B" can make a "downed internet" a pleasant event and fun! 🥸

I run into temporary outages on a regular basis. But that's very common for my area.

Bonanza and Rifleman! I've watched a few of those! Plus The Lone Ranger, Buffalo Bill Jr., Judge Roy Bean, Annie Oakley, Paradise, Hawkeye, and about fifty or so other series (not exaggerating, it says on the box!) and the giant series like MacGyver and Dr. Quin. Plus other movies like Zorro, Narnia, LOTRs. Of course, there are all of the random single movies.
I've seen movies like WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE and others on TV, but never had the discs for them.
And then there are the are the Creation Seminar and WOE series by Dr. Dino.

Yes, DVD players are very important if you like movies. VHS players are nice too, but not as convenient and they tend to break way more often than DVD players. (And you have to re-wind the tapes when you're done...)

Thrift stores sometimes have movies and music too, but it's not guaranteed that they are perfect.

Also, some computers have DVD/CD players built into them, so you could watch movies on your computer (no internet needed) or connect your computer to the TV with an HDMI cord. But that requires you have the build-in player and the cord (if you want to send it to the TV). Also, sometimes you have to fix the settings if you want to send it to the TV. That is not super complicated, but is annoying to find sometimes if you don't already know how to do it.
