Who are you? You are the woman, the Church; the bride being prepared to be the wife of the King of Glory, adorned with His glory, as you become the Image of Him, the One you behold. You are the bride and yet you have not reached the fullness of your call. A bride is one who prepares for her coming wedding. You desire to present yourself to your Bridegroom as the enchanting and captivating desire of His heart, you have heard the Voice and have consented to all He asks of you. He has anointed and appointed you to stand with Him in His glory. Just as the first woman Eve was formed from the rib taken from the first Adam as he slept deeply, so too were you this woman, the second Eve birthed from the Cleft of the Rock as He slept His resurrection sleep. The piercing of His side was predestined and ordained before He left His throne and was to be the birthplace from where you who gave Him your allegiance. All birth comes with water and blood and your spiritual birth happened because of the blood and water that flowed from His wounded side. You were born of the Spirit to be conformed into His image and transformed into more of His glory as you consented to His work of love.
