I joined the wild west show called reddit. I did so in order to help all who will listen to God's word.

Just for the seeding of the ground.

The title was; How do I know god is real?
I'm struggling with my Christianity beliefs and I need advice?

My response:
In our courts today, we say that by the testimony of 2 or 3 people, we may find guilt or innocence of a person.

For the existence of God, we have the testimony of Moses and the prophets and the Apostles and millions of Christians.

In referring to God's miracles, we read: Deuteronomy 4:35 NASB "You were shown these things so that you might know that the Lord, He is God; there is no other besides Him.

Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for the one who comes to God must believe that He exists, and that He proves to be One who rewards those who seek Him.

Psalm 46:10 NASB "Stop striving and Know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted on the earth."

There are actually quite a few Christian-related groups on Reddit. If the one you're referring to is r/Christianity, then you've truly entered the Wild West, although much of the rest of Reddit might be something more akin to a madhouse, where the inmates have taken over...

But r/Christianity... aaaahhh... where to begin? There is truly a ministry there, with room for dozens of people who can comfort and reassure. That is, once you see how to spot the true heartfelt pleas, given by folks who really need help, and who think that a group named 'Christianity' on Reddit will be full of people with Good Advice...

While there are lots of basic questions, usually each with 30... 40... 50... 200 basic responses, There are also posts that are clear cries for help, many with just a few responses, and often those don't appear to have had much thought put into them. We have a real ministry there. The stories some of these people post can be absolutely heartbreaking, and when I've gotten into a little conversation with them, it can become gut wrenching.

And while we may not be in a position to offer more than words, some will have such deep appreciation that someone listened and cared. And many are so wracked with guilt over what their lives have become, and have never been told that God loves them as they are, and would dearly love for them to tell Him about it, just as they're telling us.

This just being my opinion... pray a lot before going in, even just for the guidance to select the right posts to respond to, 'cuz there are so many that we'll never have the time to reach. I just enter the place sporadically, myself, as it really drains me. (And gives me the deepest, deepest respect for our pastors, many of whom do this sort of thing and more, daily, with members of their congregations.)

Kudos to you for going in there to help. You can make a real difference in people's lives...
