Hey, all. I know I haven't really been very active lately, but I've been dealing with a pretty demanding story project, so I could really use some prayer. For strength, comfort, wisdom--because I really need it. I can't do it without the Lord. He knows all the reasons why. Oftentimes, believe it or not, trying to write this thing is like pulling teeth from a very angry, wild 8yo. But I really want to do it--no, actually, I need to do it. Again, the Lord knows the reasons.
I know the Lord has given me this story for a purpose, even if I don’t fully understand it yet. Sometimes the words feel impossible to wrestle onto the page, but I believe He can turn even my weakness into something that glorifies Him. Please pray that I’ll keep pressing forward with patience, that I won’t lose heart when the process feels overwhelming, and that I’ll remember His strength is made perfect in my weakness.
I’m trusting that He’ll guide me through every step, even the messy ones, and that He’ll use this project in ways far beyond what I can see right now. Thank you, brothers and sisters in Christ.

I will be praying for you, @Professor Fritz. And know that you are not alone. I'm in a very similar situation with my own WIP right now, and I think I'm qualified to say I understand what you're going through. Wishing you all the best!

Praying for you. I've heard said that if something is worth having, it is worth working for. Sometimes the best and most important things for ourselves or others take the most hard work and struggle to get there. And spiritual battle sometimes.

Just remember, the first draft is not the end. Sometimes we struggle too hard to put the exactly right words into the first writing, when what we really should be doing is simply putting scenes into place that you will be able to "fix" at a later time. It's not like baking a cake, where you only get one shot at it. The first draft will wait while you rework it again and again and again, until it's ready to put into the oven.
