As most of my American families know, this November may be especially difficult for low income families in need of assistance for food. At one time, I did work at a "faith-based" organization that helped with everything from free food distribution, utilities assistance, rental assistance, and any other emergency need. We not only helped with material resources, but prayer and conversations regarding salvation were always included in every situation.
I am still a supporter of their ministry and one of my prayer partners is employed there as well.
May I encourage you all to look through your pantries and cabinets for any "extras" that you could spare? This, also, includes hygiene products. I just checked my cabinets, and saw that I had 5 boxes of pasta when all I need is one. I can't tell you what a BIG difference it will make during this "season of uncertainty". Blessings from 'Bama!
