Everybody experiences fear sometimes,
what may startle one person,
might not even phase another.
There are all kinds of fears,
ranging from small ones to big.
Our Lord makes it clear,
that He does not want us to live in fear.
Fear paralyzes,
it steals joy and peace from us.
He does want however,
for us to revere Him with a holy reverent fear,
showing Him our obedience and utmost respect.
He instructed Joshua to be bold and courageous,
and not to be afraid.
We have a God who knows our every move,
past, present, and future.
Trust in the Lord,
with all our hearts,
and He will bring us His peace,
to make it through every stressful situation.
