General Discussion Any good Christian books, anyone?

This may be in a different thread, but I thought I’d still post. I’m feeling stuck and not able to find any good books, and I really want to find some new ones to read. Preferably older books, but any would do.

I love rich prose, complex themes and characters, books that challenge the heart. Any suggestions?

I’ve found several of Lynn Austin’s novels to meet those marks, though not older. Hidden Places and Until we Reach Home are two of my favorites

I will always suggest Narnia. But C.S. Lewis's space trilogy was a pretty interesting ride, except for the last one. There was a book that my fam read a while back called All Things New by (who was it? oh!) Lynn Austin. (Just like LeighaWrites) That one was interesting if you haven't read it yet.

I just finished reading Narnia, actually! I haven’t read his space trilogy, so I’ll have to check it out. What did you not like about the last one? Haha, I’ll check out Lynn Austin, too!

Oh, the last space one is just really different from the first two and the ending is kinda gross. There are like weird LOTR references in there and Merlin shows up. Makes me go . The second one is my favorite of the three.
