Have you ever struggled to peel a banana from the stem? Someone told me that monkeys do it from the other end. Just pinch the stub with your thumb nail, and voila!

Until you've struggled with it for five minutes!Yup! But it's hard to break the habit of doing it from the stem end! LOL

If it's a banana, I'm getting in. Same with a nut, like myself..Bananas? No! Getting to the meat of a black walnut? HEEEEELP!
The only "monkey" that could make that easy would be "King Kong"!
'just sayin'....
Black walnut shells would make excellent Wonder Woman bullet repelling bracelets. Hammers? Hmmmmm......If it's a banana, I'm getting in. Same with a nut, like myself..
I just pull the stem straight out. I guess I'm as strong as an average monkey.. maybe not as wise.
For the walnut, get a bigger hammer.. if you don't mind sifting.
If i'm going to disect half of the peel, incise the entire length, and pack it with peanut butter and honey, the 'handle' may be insufficient..The stem is the handle to make it easier to hold while you eat! Not a tear-open tab!

At that point you just need a spoon to eat it with instead of worrying about the banana peel and handle. If i'm going to disect half of the peel, incise the entire length, and pack it with peanut butter and honey, the 'handle' may be insufficient..
That's the joy of this group!.I'm starting to think that this "trivia" is driving some members "bananas"!
This is pretty and I would so wear it.
