How are PDFs protected? MS Word and other word processors convert PDFs to their format. What keeps a beta reader from simply downloading the book, whether or not they print it? Files can be copied and shared. Or do you share the printed material with a beta reader instead of the file?

True, but that's the first thing people see. If that attracts them, then they may look at the blurb. If it doesn't, they just put it back.

Would the story/novel/article/whatever be posted on the website or would it be more like advertised with a book cover and/or a sample of the writing?

My first thought was having a picture of each community (or something representing each community) with her between them. Not sure what could represent each one.

So how would this work? We would post the stories or resources here? How would other people (non-CWers) find them? Or would they have access to them?

I have other keys with my car key, so I don't use the fob at all. I lock it from the inside, but I make sure I have my keys in my hand, even if I have to dig them back out of my pocket, before I close the door. Now I have another reason to do that.
