My husband is getting a bone marrow transplant due to MPAL leukemia. We've temporarily moved to Arizona for the transplant and will be here through the end of December. These are wild and scary times. Please pray this goes smoothly, and that there are no complications or graft vs. host disease. There's a lot of recovery time ahead and when we get home I may have to take care of him plus take on a second job (if I can even find one) there are so many unknowns and I'm really stressed out. I don't know how this is all going to work out and I'm terrified of losing him. We are in our mid-30s and have been married for almost 13 years. I didn't know it was possible to love someone this much. Anyway... Some of you have been here before and you know how this feels. Please pray for us both.

I will be praying. So very sorry to hear of this terrible burden. Whether you realize it or not, hearing how this has increased your sense of love and appreciation inspires others, and as we try to minister to you, you're definitely ministering to us. Praying that God delivers his strength, peace, and healing...

You and your husband will be in my prayers. 🙏

When I saw this post of yours, I went back and read the post you made back in June, about his diagnosis. I'm so sorry I missed that and wasn't aware to pray earlier on, but I will surely be praying for you both now. Please keep us updated. And remember, the Lord promised never to leave nor forsake you.

Here's a verse that has helped me immensely, and I would like to share it with you: Psalm 55: 22, "Cast thy burden upon the Lord and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved."

I’ll be praying for both of you, @Rio1064.

A few years back my husband and I did the cancer thing…except in our case it was me with the cancer and him with the much heavier burden of caring for me and our kid, and wondering if things were going to work out. They did, and we are both stronger for it.

I have been praying for you and your husband. I will continue to pray for you both as he goes through the recovery period. There are times in our lives we have to trust in the LORD.

TRUST (totally, relying, upon, the Saviors, timing.)

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

My Sister in Christ: Rio, Praying for you and your husband to come through all of this with testimonies of our Lord's showering you both with an abundance of His amazing Grace! In Jesus Name. Amen!🙏🏾
