Hi! I am a Yooper from den dare Wisconsin. I'm a VR developer, writer, musician (not to much currently), and Blender enthusiast. My favorite genre to read and write is fantasy; I love allegory. I'm a big Narnia fan.

...oh, and the woods. I love the woods, cheese, and fish. 😌 🌳🧀🐟 (sorry, emoji overload)

My life:
Cons - I struggle with mood related issues and a little bit of PTSD probably. (Enough said 😐)
Pros - God gave me a beautiful place to live, a great home, and cool hobbies. He saved my family from self destructing a while back, and pulled me out of the depths of what I could only describe as psychotic depression. He hasn't abandoned me.

I suppose I have accepted that God allows bad things to happen for a reason (discipline, judgment, preventing more bad things...). It's not random and meaningless (it feels that way sometimes though 😅), but He can also restore the years the locusts have eaten : )

Tack så mycket (sorry had to try me svenska on ya 🇸🇪), or in other words, thanks so much! This is a cool site.

Åh hej att du! Jag tala en lite svenska. Det är en väldigt smidigt språk. Fel i här kanske. 😅 I started learning Swedish a while back. Not my native language I'm sure you can tell. It works well with my Yooperisms though. 😆

I think Finnish is really cool too.

LOTR yes! I have seen the movies a billion times.

Welcome! I think you will find there are many Narnia lovers here (myself included). I have to agree with you on the woods and cheese. Making your own cheese... now that what you do if you want burnt hands for the rest of the day, lol. and way better mozzarella than you can find at the store.🐄🧀

Oh ya, cheese making! Made some ricotta with my pop once or twice. 🧀

I've made cottage cheese, and I usually try to save the ricotta like stuff from the mozzarella, but the mozzarella is the main thing I try to make. Haven't made any in awhile though...

What acid did you use?
Oh, its been ages. I don't remember. 😆 It was like when I was twelve or something. We made some yogurt too. That was really great with fruit.

I'm American but do have a fair bit of Nordic ancestry. It's been a long while since I had the occasion to break out the Swedish, so that was fun. :)

I did have to look up what a Yooper is, so you got me on that one. :D

Yep. They are classics!

Don't worry, I mean nothing by it. I guess orcas are generally seen as kinda scary, but I use them because I have always loved orcas since I was young. Think friendly orca : )
Oh, i didn't mean it like that, it was supposed to be a funny note. I figured you picked orcas because you liked them and they were cool, or maybe they were your favorite animal. I think orcas can be very lovely cute, like their black eyes are. They can also be just like their "white eyes" suggest. I always thought that was funny, how their actual eyes make them friendly, but those white patches are something. In one of the fantasies, i have these characters reminiscent of sea animals and creatures, and amongst them are orcas; they are very interesting characters to imagine.

Oh, I see. Ya got me dare. 😆

Now I always think of the whale orca and the bean orca together. So I might just as easily think of the taste of Orca beans and picking them as of the killer wales of the ocean.

Hmm... Well if you were also making yogurt, you may have done the kind where you let it sit out instead of cooking it. That uses live cultures instead of adding an acid like citric acid, lemon juice, or applecidar vinegar.

I'm no longer into football (never was a big fan of it, but used to watch a little before the kneeling episode) but my 'home team' back when I watched it as a little kid enjoyed shredding cheese. 🐴🔵🟠 or eating it... I may have a few article of clothing and such in honor of that team hidden away in the depths of the treasures of the past we don't talk about, lol.
Still remember the time that my friend went to a game between the two teams back in those days (I found out he was a traitor, lol🧀). The Broncos made sure to shred them and I made sure to give him a hard time.🤣

Welcome to our family of Christian Writers, E. A. Cornell! Although I am not Swedish, I did live in Minnesota for, approximately, 10 years. And, of course, I am VERY familiar with the rivalry between the Packers and the Vikings: VERY! Every football season, there would be "adults?" walking around with hats in the shape of huge blocks of cheese, while others wore helmets with long blonde braids! Oh, the insanity of it all!! 🫣
When I worked at a television station that housed FOX SPORTS NET, I could get comp tickets for every sport EXCEPT football! Tickets to a Vikings game were not cheap! Price list: one arm or leg and your first-born!😂

The fellowship that I attended (and still livestream on Sundays) is Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis. It's roots go back over 150 years from a Swedish group of settlers. "You betcha!" is all the Minnesotan I can speak. I did learn a lot about the native american culture as well as the Somalians. Minnesota is well-known for being this nation's placement center for refugees in need of sanctuary from countries experiencing civil unrest.
Oh, I did have a meal at a Swedish restaurant once. A friend ordered from the menu for me, so don't ask me what it was. It was good, though.
And, I am not a big fan of Narnia or LOTR. My "fantasy taste" tends to lean more towards things like "Princess Bride" and "Pirates of the Caribbean (Black Pearl) only! Some of the Kdrama historical sagas, too. That's it!

Blessings from 'Bama!
