Should Christians Write Fiction?

I happen to agree with this, Zee, but the question is do you really feel that God calls you to do it?

I suspect God hasn't called me to it. I also suspect he hasn't called me to gardening, or dessert making either. Then again, he's not against it. None of those are sinful. And that he calls us to -- sinlessness. I am enjoying what he has given me.

This resonates with me. I think I have the gift or talent to write, but what I do with it is on me. I try to use that giftedness responsibly, but that manifests in ways that might seem strange to Christians on the surface, but I think I know what I'm doing, and why.

I'm busy reading a book now that mentions how God doesn't micromanage us. He gives us gifts and talents, but it's up to us to use and develop them.
