Is Archangel a better hero or villain name?

Well, given who it refers to, I probably wouldn't use it for either. Now Legnahcra might work for the hero. Don't use it for the villain in case people figure out to spell it backward.

Yeah, besides being practically unpronounceable spelled backwards, I don’t think of it as a name anyway. It’s a title.

 

Would be like naming a character “Grand Duke.” That might be someone’s title, but not his name. Maybe your hero is an archangel, named...something else.

"He" is not the MC, just a hero or villain known by the public as The Archangel.
