Chris Brown 167
One of my FB groups alerted me to this pirate site this morning: https://bibleandbookcenter.com/ My second book is up there. They have a whole host of self- and traditionally-published books. 1

They don't let you see the interior of a book until you create an account, which requires giving them a credit card number.

Ky_GirlatHeart 1,935
For a second, I thought this was about "The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything" in Veggietales. But thanks for sharing!
carolinamtne 4,837
I didn't notice your name on any of the books.

Wes B 942
Sadly, there are plenty of real ones. If you can digitize it, they can provide it. And not just books... games, software apps, movies, music, courses, and even (who'd have ever imagined???)... porn. Anyone can go to various sites, search, click, and own. The laws in various countries and the international reach of the 'net just makes it more difficult to fix. I suppose one additional non-writing task we may be wanting to assume is compiling lists of these sites, checking regularly, and filing complaints to take down stuff we find. I haven't a clue as to how we'd get this done efficiently without it coming back and biting us, 'cuz if anyone were to compile a list of sites to check on and share it with others, it would likely get used by even more kids who want to go out and grab free stuff. It would be really hard to keep secure if it had any amount of distribution. I'm not offering solutions here; I haven't got any. I'm just clarifying the size of the problem... PenName 1,917
That's insane! Thanks for the warning! @Ky_GirlatHeart, @Johne, if you haven't heard the RelientK version, I strongly recommend you go listen to it.
