Showcasing Young Writers

I’m hoping to start a new series on my blog next month, showcasing the work of young writers (under 30) who may not have much “publicity” yet.  I'd love for anyone here who's interested to be involved. If you want to participate in the series, which I’m going to call “Works in Progress,” you’ll need to send me a description of your current story (no spoilers, of course), and/or thoughts you have about it as you write. If possible, it would also be great to have a short excerpt.

 

Please PM me if you're interested, and I'll give you the email address to send the information to. Then I'll email you back when your post is live.

Wish I had known about it sooner.  Looks like I'll reach 30 by the time I get anything out.  Aiming for Feb but this would require me to do this before the end of March and I'm not sure I'll make my feb deadline.

Don't worry, it doesn't have to be anything published...it doesn't even have to be finished. In fact, this is meant to be a way to help you "meet" some potential fans before you publish. If you don't have a portion of the story (even the beginning) polished enough to share, don't worry. You can just share a short summary of what it's about, or simply what inspired you to write it.

Actually, I haven't even started the series yet--I was planning to start in February, so I'm still collecting submissions! Please do share if you'd like. I'll PM you my email.
