1st Attempt At A Short Story

So I took a break from my novel like people suggested and I had an idea for a short story.

and I finished writing the first draft, but it's like 2830 words long and I don't want to split it into parts

just wondering if someone would take a look at it for me and the best way to share it

What if you split it in half and posted both parts in the critique forum at the same time? You could ask that people not comment until they've read both parts.  Hope that helps!

But it says you can only use a maximum of 2500 words, unless I'm doing something wrong

Lynn knows everything. Give it a try. If it doesn't work, split it into two pieces and post it.
