Yes.

I literally woke up one morning with the first part of Demons in my head. I spend the next three days writing a very rough draft out before it disappeared.

Most of the time I find by the time I have woke up and grabbed a pen or turned the pc on the dream has disappeared.

Have dreams that you turn into stories?

I haven't yet. My dreams are usually insane sketches of utter randomness. Like the one where I had to guard the warm flatbread because Sonic the Hedgehog wanted to steal it... 🤪

Lesoshine is based on a dream of a man riding his horse joyfully through a shallow dry river bed. I had to explain why he was riding, where, and what happened after that. 500 000 words later ... Leoshine didn't even appear in the dream!

I have. I keep a notebook and pencil to jot down the random ideas that I have in my dreams. Some have turned into pieces of my main project and others have become secondary projects that I work on here and there.

Others have gone to the waste basket because I was unable to decipher the nonsense that I jotted down whilst half-asleep.
