Need some help with body language cues?

Recommended Posts

Hey all. I found this site with a "body language writing guide". You can find it here.

It's mainly for helping Dungeon Masters with scene writing, but I've found it helpful for my own work.

Thought it might help you get a good start too.

...I'm a poet and didn't know it.😋

Happy writing!

True. 🤔 I guess what POV you write would also help with this, but... That might be better discussed in its own thread, so we don't hijack this one.

I have The Emotional Thesaurus - it is good as it give both physical and internal signs. BUT when writing you will need to be careful when you use the descriptions not to sound text book like.

Yeah, I sometimes get caught up doing exactly that.

Thanks for the suggestion!

THanks I ordered the third book.  I am a therapist and have done some research on this because it helps me so much in my sessions!  This looks great and I am going to read it!
