Types of People at a Potluck

Recommended Posts

This looks like a dinner I'd like to attend.

At the Church I used to attend, before I moved away, I used to help set up for potluck dinners, on Wednesday evenings during Lent, by setting up the tables and chairs, and then setting the tables. The foods which many members of the Congregation brought were very appetizing.

One lady used to bring what she called "Little Red Riding Hood Stew".

I wondered, "What the Big Bad Wolf likes to eat?"

This might just be me, but I thought it was unsanitary for that woman acting as the sampler to be sticking her fork in each and every dessert...

My thoughts exactly.

At the annual Labor day corn roast/ potluck my mom was always told to bring her macaroni salad. Of course this year she didn't go since it was a large gathering.  I made it at home instead, you start with 2 pounds of pasta shells so you can imagine how much we had when it was done.
