I might be wrong, but I thought that was a Jehovah's witness publication.

Oh, yes! They've been around for decades. I think it does take a while for it to be published. Praying for acceptance. :D

“The Watchtower” would be the best-know JW publication.

I think they meant who publishes it.

Copied from their website,

About The Upper Room

The Upper Room® is a global ministry dedicated to supporting the spiritual life of Christians seeking to know and experience God more fully. From its beginnings in 1935 as a daily devotional guide, The Upper Room has grown to include publications, programs, prayer support, and other resources to help believers of all ages and denominations move to a deeper level of faith and service.

It looks like The Upper Room publishes its own materials.

The important thing is that they are Christian, and they are reliable.

Your responses have given me the confidence to submit something

Go for it!  Remember, they have a formula.  Research the order they put the specific elements they require. I once took a workshop on devotion writing.

Alley: it is a United Methodist publication. It's located in Nashville,Tennessee.

Claire: years ago, I tried to submit work to them. They have a lengthy process and lag time between acceptance and printing. I was never successful in getting acceptance. You may do better.
