I thirsted in my mind,

At first for what I left behind,

Only to find they're just possessions,

We're one of a kind,

God saw all He had made,

Was pleased by what He designed

He saw it was very good and,

On all His Light has shined,

To help us grow,

To help us know,

We are loved by love divined,

When He returns we'll surely know,

By His Spirit, we're all combined

Then, blessedly, we find we possess

A treasure from heaven, heartfelt praise

Lifting my bowed head, and raising my hands, amazed

At the return of joy from His Presence, I sang aloud

Words that flowed from an inner source. The crowd

of thoughts rose briefly, then a stillness I felt

A welcome, calming peace, and rest.

Lifting my bowed head, and raising my hands amazed,

I could see the light from heaven upon my face in fullness gazed.

Upon the King of Kings, my morning star, my Lord and Savior friend,

The majesty of greatest, to be magnified again and again!

Oh Lord, dear King, majestic Love, You bright and morning Star,

Your Grace forever pleasant, my heart is left ajar.

I know You draw close near to me, when I draw close to You,

My answer to Your request of me, is I do, I do, I do.

Upon the King of Kings, my morning star, my Lord and Savior friend,

Has promised to be with me always, even to the end,

So in your name I pray, on you I depend,

To help me through each day, to show me how to lend,

My life to others so mine portrays you,

In all I do, giving you the glory, my heart will praise you

So in your name I pray, on you I depend,

Have all my control, only your will be done.

Let your hand guide me on my path in life,

For I may stumble, but you'll never forsaken me.

So many times on my knee's, I'll seek out you,

for knowledge and courage.

Let me be reminded for the good and bad,

It's you that'll never leave.

By my side eternally with unconditional love.

Let your will be done.

Let your hand guide me on my path in life,

may my works show trust that this way is right.

Father, what a good race set before our eyes!

Many have dashed to Heaven, now we keep the stride.

Not by mechanations of the carnal mind,

wholly by the Blood, Spirit and the servant-kind.

Bread of Life forgive us when we don't aspire

to the Treasure of the heavens! Praise Him you cosmic choir!

Father, what a good race set before our eyes!

Obedience to You has only the greatest prize.

Eternal life is worth running for,

Our blessed life You will restore.

It's the coming to Eden we are striving for,

For the hope in the enemies kingdom is not worth dying for.

But the hope in your Kingdom is all worth fighting for,

To reach Your door!

My soul cries out for more of Him,

For His light to never dim,

For if it does, I am to fault,

Lord, grant me the strength to make darkness halt,

Before my eyes,

To make decisions wise,

Now that I realize,

Before you, I place nothing first,

For You, oh Lord, top every prize,

Upon this earth and heavens skies,

You're my hearts treasure,

The rest are a mere disguise,

To cause a distraction to come between us,

But You've taught me a little subtraction of the devil reveals,

Adding You to my life is A plus!

For if it does, I am to fault,

My faith that may have wavered.

To dim His light upon my path,

That deems me as unfavored.

But in the flicker of His flame,

Ignites my soul to cry,

Redemption song I'll sing days long,

Rendered by God on High!

To dim His light upon my path,

that takes a lot--a stubborn man.

But is it dim or am I blind?

We'll find out soon, repentance time.

In Him no shadow, in me a shade

of indifference or pride makes my path fade.

So, Yes, there's dim and dark and gray,

but hope glows hard when we obey.

But is it dim or am I blind?

Will His outstretched arm reach for mine,

when we see in all His glory,

our King descending upon the clouds,

as the trumpets sound loud,

every creature will sing,

To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb

be praise and honor and glory and power,

for ever and ever

You are before all things

We will live redemptions story

through the winter of the world

until that day of glory

when His banner is unfurled.

Until the bugle's shout

announces 'Kingdom come'

and wars are put to rout

and all is said and done.

Until that day of glory,

When comes alive the story,

When trumpets sound, when flags unfurl,

Downward God will evil hurl,

We will live to see the grace,

When Christ comes down to take his place,

Christians will to heaven go,

To live with God, 'cause we did sew,

Good when we did live our lives,

Believing Jesus Christ did strive,

To cleanse us from our evil sin,

Knowing he would come again.

When trumpets sound, when flags unfurl,

All will see the Light of the world,

From north, south, west and east,

Jesus, our High Priest,

Who will finally put to rest,

That devilish beast,

Who tempted our hearts,

Who would destroy us if he could,

Only he misunderstood,

Sin was overcome, by death on a cross,

To count the first of his every loss

From north, south, west and east,

where am I in all of this?

In Jesus’ heart, a brother at best,

at worst I’m waiting for Heaven’s rest.

“This life has shown us how we’re wounded and how were torn",

said brother Rich* among the thorns.

We cut through them with Spirit’s sword

ahead of feelings, yet with our Lord.

In Jesus’ heart, a brother at best,

I leave my soul, in peace, at rest

My all in Him is what I find

Turmoil and strife left behind

He heals my heart and soothes my soul

Forgives my sin and makes me whole

In Him, there is no room for doubt

And Him..... I cannot do without
