I really wanted to find the film clip of the guy with half a mustache who says "You have... no idea." But that would send the whole thread into a Mel Brooks tangent.

So, so true! Because my day job is the analytical side I have an extra hard time getting her to keep quiet when it's time to create a mess, but it's hopeless if I don't!

Your approach to a major writing session sounds like the way I would do it--if I ever get the nerve (and time) to try my hand at fiction again.
