Like the great American Eagle
When she spreads her wings to fly
Soaring through the skies above
A phenomenon in flight

The wind beneath her wings is freedom
Justice is Her might
Her wings, we call democracy
Her strength is human rights

The day enemies attacked her
The wind lifted her high
Justice gave her courage
To stand her ground and fight

Her feathers, red white and blue
Her eyes intense and strong
Her Nests on Purple Mountains Majesty
Star-Spangled Banner her battle song

She flies across the evening sky
Above a lighted torch
Where freedom stands transfixed in time
Just beyond her shores
