So should I be asking my car for forgiveness?  I backed into a high curb last week and poked a hole in the muffler, I bumped a fence and put scratches on the bumper.   I need forgiveness. LOL

Last night I remembered this following piece of Scripture.  It's actually in the Bible.

    Judges 9: 8-15:

"One day the trees went out to anoint a king for themselves. They said to the olive tree, ‘Be our king.’

“But the olive tree answered, ‘Should I give up my oil, by which both gods and humans are honored, to hold sway over the trees?’

“Next, the trees said to the fig tree, ‘Come and be our king.’

“But the fig tree replied, ‘Should I give up my fruit, so good and sweet, to hold sway over the trees?’

“Then the trees said to the vine, ‘Come and be our king.’

“But the vine answered, ‘Should I give up my wine, which cheers both gods and humans, to hold sway over the trees?’

“Finally all the trees said to the thornbush, ‘Come and be our king.’

“The thornbush said to the trees, ‘If you really want to anoint me king over you, come and take refuge in my shade; but if not, then let fire come out of the thornbush and consume the cedars of Lebanon!’"

This is something that should be kept in mind.  Maybe a copy should be sent to Union Theological Seminary of New York.

I write about stuffed animals because they're my thing. They're also my stuffed animals, (minus the movement and the story.) I have found myself apologizing to them, when I drop one. I also apologize to the car if I mistreat it. And have been known to apologize to a table, if I kick it. Welll? I least I know they're not real. (Looking at teddy bear.) Well, pretty sure anyway. :$

If the plant is on fire....

...and the fire does not consume the plant...

...and the plant begins to speak audibly to me...

...then it may get my attention

These other folks, not so much...

My husband told me about this a few days ago. It's total bunkum!

And there was a picture in the article he read that showed the plants. I laughed when I saw some of the brown, drooping leaves! I guess they don't do well with too much carbon dioxide...
