other Three Positions Required For Monthly Magazine

Recommended Posts

Faith Filled Family Magazine is in need of the following positions:

Review Editor

Business Editor

The responsibility of the Review Editor is to assign music, movies, books, etc to our established list of writers for review for the website.  Our reviews are 600-900 words in length, and we have an established format that our writers are familiar with.

Once it has been assigned, our Review Editor is expected to follow up closer to the due date to ensure that the review is completed on time.  Then it is to be uploaded to our system (Asana for now/in house in a month) for editing.

Once it has been posted, the Review Editor is to contact via email the PR person and inform them that it has been posted to the site.

The Review Editor is also responsible for finding new writers as well if the need arises.

Our ideal candidate is efficient, and able to manage time well.  We are looking for someone who is able to manage multiple deadlines, who is computer/tech savvy, who has excellent communication skills, and is able to communicate on a professional/business level.  We would also appreciate an individual who is able to think outside the box, and offer suggestions on growing out this position.

We are looking to grow this section out again on our website.  The Business Editor will be almost starting from scratch, and rebuilding this section with new writers.  He/she will be responsible (with the assistance of the Editor-In-Chief) for recruiting new writers, and following up with them for articles (2-4 per month minimum).

We do, periodically, interview Business Leaders, so the person in this role may be required to assign one of the writers an interview.

We are looking for someone who is efficient, and who has a passion for Christian Business.  A bit of research may be involved as to find Christian business books/interviewers at times, but most of the material is funnelled through our Editor-In-Chief.  Most of the articles will consist of features.

Our Business Editor must be able to provide material to our Editor-In-Chief at least once a week to be posted on the website in a timely fashion.  They must be able to set deadlines with the writers, and ensure that they are met in a timely fashion.  Good communication skills are a must, as well as a professional communication/business skills.  Most of the individuals that contact us are presidents, CEO's etc.

FFFM is in need of someone to edit both feature and interview articles on a monthly basis.  You will be working in conjunction with another editor editing a max of 12 articles per month for spelling, grammar and flow.

Our ideal candidate has superior writing skills, and an extensive knowledge of the correct usage of grammar.  Most of our writers are professionals, however, there may be some need to mildly rework a few articles for proper flow and variance of sentence structure.  We are looking for someone who is able to meet deadline each month, and who has excellent communication skills.

While we are unable to offer monetary compensation at this time, we are able to provide 2 full page ad space (or any combination) in our magazine/website in lieu of payment.

Faith Filled Family Magazine is a digital, Christian, monthly publication aimed at helping families live victoriously in Christ.  We have a monthly global readership of 150,000 and growing!

If interested, please contact our Editor-In-Chief, Michelle Danko at mcdanko@eyeworship.org.  Please list the position you are interested in, as well as a current copy of your CV.
