Trying to decide if I should bring the villain of my book about the fire to justice. Thoughts?

Really? Under the circumstances?

Then again, I haven't told you everything. . .

Well, not knowing more,  I'd think the community would be smoking mad. With all those embers he should think about doing the right things.

I just don't know if he should come to terms with the person he tried to kill. . .

Well, his father IS wealthy. . .

All the more fuel for him to have a flash of conscious heating him uncomfortably hot.

Couldn't his father cover what he did with his money?

Or would he be fuming at the trouble the kid caused.

Does it matter that two people died in the fire and the two offspring had their lives turned upside down? And if it turns out it was an accident, couldn't he have warned someone?

I would hope that the justice system of the United States has not yet become so corrupt that even a fabulously wealthy man could pay them off. If this kid has burned a house down with the intention of killing everyone inside, I've got to say, he needs to be removed from society, one way or another.

Whether Zac and Charity ever get to confront him with what he did is up to you...but you can't leave this guy running around loose. Unless there's a sequel...

Ah ha. But the fire wasn't an accident. . .

The villain deserves to be brought to justice, circumstances aside.  That's my two cents :D
