Free tool to covert word count to page number

Recommended Posts

If you need to know how many pages your book will be, there's a free tool on Wordcounter.net that you can use. Just enter your font type, size and the word count and it will calculate a ballpark figure of your book's page count.

I'm very sorry to come in here only to mention this, but it's bugging me so much I have to say something.

Ever since you started this thread of discussion, I've noticed the word covert in the discussion title. I'm quite certain what you meant to say is convert, right?

Meh. Not a big deal.

It's an interesting topic, though. Converting word count to the number of pages? I tried it a little bit ago and found myself rather disappointed by the results. Granted I didn't have much written, anyway, but I thought word count per page was 250.

Handwriting conversion is no different. You can get a word count estimate by averaging the words per line (about eight for my chicken scratch), multiplying by full lines, then adding to the running total for each page.

Most agent request 12 font Times New Roman, 1.5/double line spacing with 1st line of para indented by .5.

Margins 2.5cm (1")  all round.

As For word count. MS Word usually gives the number of words in the bottom lefthand corner of the status bar.
