I found this to help stay on target for word count.

Wow...that's a lot of words.

As long as I don't have to add them all together for a book! 😳 😄

The fantasy and Sci-fi people get more words because they need to build worlds, but they still have to do it artfully.

Thanks for this, Alley!  It does help!

I think I need to use the word epic for all my books. "You have to read Alley's books; they're epic!!" 😁 (Yep, I've got a teenager. Why do you ask?) 😄

How many times can you use it in a chapter to boost your word count?

😂 If it helped, I would put it every other word! I'd also sound like a teenage girl who can't stop saying the word like. 😂

Yes, that would be totally epic! 😃 😂

Like TOTALLY!

(My kids grew up in the 80s and 90s. I learned "Valley Girl" and "grunge" from MTV.)

Sometimes, SW, you and the rest of us need a whatchamacallit (the picture we have that everyone sees for each post) with a shocked look! Something with our mouth open in amazement or in fear.

Or something that shows that i have no memory for vocabulary.

Whoa, I'm in trouble,

Alas, my editor won't know what to do. At least they'll be less expensive to edit since it's usually based on word count. maybe I still have a lot to learn. I suppose I could add prestigious and copious amounts of superfluous words so it would totally make it awesome and extremely well explained story making it mind numbing easy with exceedingly long sentences and thoughtless read for an epic length for sure. LOL LOL LOL 😲 Look ma, no commas.

Ah, yes! That's the word that would not come to mind! Thank you, Lynn. And that's the whatchamacallit with a shocked look.
