I'm looking for a few people to join my beta read for my upcoming book: "Dreams Within Dreams". The first of my "Tales From the Dream Nebula" series.
What:
Dreams Within Dreams is a high adventure modern take on the raygun gothic. It's "Flash Gordon" meets "Smokey and the Bandit" meets "The Matrix" meets "Talespin" with shades of film noir. This is not explicitly a Christian book, but as a Christian author my viewpoint comes through.
There is "Battlestar Galactica" level of coded profanity, violence (It's high adventure) and some sensuality, but no explicit sex. It's "Hayes act" acceptable.
The novella is approximately 28k words, and 82 pages.

When:
June. I hope to have the beta read draft and the survey to you for June 1st. I want to close the beta read on June 30th so I can get your feedback and have enough time to massage the draft before it goes to final editing.
Why:
The fun of it, and a free ebook once it's released in Feb 2023. Oh, and credit in the acknowledgments for your participation. (Yes I pushed it back for better release event.) There are 2 more books to come out next year (tentatively #2 in July 23, and Oct 23) and those that provide information will be first to be invited back.
