                                  The Mind and the Heart

The mind and the heart are both in the body and both of them are spirits. Because they are both spirits, they are invisible to the naked eye. Even though the mind and the heart are both spirits, one is a part of the body and the other one isn't. The mind is a part of the body and the heart isn't. Because the mind is a part of the body, the mind is considered as the flesh, just as the body is considered as the flesh.

The heart is a spirit that is in the body, just as well as the mind, but the heart is not a part of the flesh, it is separated from the flesh. The mind is located in our brains and the heart is located in the center of our trunks, which is our body. Both, the mind and the heart have the ability to think, but only one of them is able of understanding.

The heart, out of the two, is the only one that is able of understanding. Why? Jesus only speaks to the heart, but not the mind. Jesus is the spiritual person who gives us an understanding of things. Jesus gives His understanding only to the heart. Jesus gives His understanding only to the heart, because the heart is the spirit that comes from His kingdom before it is placed in us by Him. Jesus is a part of us all through our hearts. The heart is made from the same spiritual substance that makes up God's kingdom. So the heart and God's kingdom is made from the same spiritual substance. That's why Jesus chooses to live in the heart when He decides to live in man. Every time a person does those things that are good, the good things they do come from the heart, because the heart is the only part of us that Jesus will deal with.

When we do those things that are good our hearts receives power from the Holy Spirit to do whatever it was we did that was good.

Even though the mind doesn't understand and the heart does, there is something the both of them have in common and that is the ability to think. That is how the both of them are able to communicate. The mind communicates with the heart, but the heart doesn't communicate with the mind. Why? The heart does not sin on its own. Matter of fact, the heart doesn't sin; the mind is the spirit that sins. What happens is the mind influences the heart to sin.

The heart prefers to be obedient to Jesus, because it is made up of the same spiritual substance of the place where Jesus lives, but the mind isn't.
The mind is a spirit that is created from the thinking the brain does. If the brain didn't think, the mind wouldn't exist. Thoughts are spiritual, just like sin is spiritual. Sin can't be seen before it is committed. Sin is seen after it is committed. The mind is created by the thoughts of the brain and the heart is created by Jesus. The mind is a part of the flesh because the mind is created at the same time the body is created.

Even though, the person isn’t alive yet to think. For that reason, the mind is a part of the body. Once the fetus is created and there is nothing more to create concerning the fetus, then Jesus put our souls into our bodies and then the fetus comes to life. Now I don't want to confuse you, because I mentioned the soul and not the heart. The heart is in the soul. The soul is the outer and the heart is the inner. In other words, the heart is in the soul. The soul houses the heart. Take a car for an example, the frame of the car is the outer and the engine is the inner. The frame of the car is the soul and the engine is the heart. That's another story.

Sin comes from the mind. The mind influences the heart to sin. The heart influences the soul to release the sin, after the soul tells the heart the difference between right and wrong. When the heart sins, the heart is influence by the mind to sin. When thoughts go from the mind to the heart, the thoughts are still thoughts, but they are thought’s that become desires if the heart refuses to reject the sin, after the soul tells it the difference between right and wrong. After the sinful thought’s becomes desires in the heart, then those desires go into the soul and the soul pushes them back to the mind and the mind uses them to influence the brain to respond. When the brain responds the result is a bad action. When the heart does what is good, then the heart has control over the mind for a brief moment. If a person is holy like Jesus, then the heart has control over the mind all the time. Then the heart influences the mind to think the thoughts that are good all the time.
