Whatever we ask by faith in the name “Jesus,” according to His will, already has been made available even though not evident in the material or yet manifested in our hearts ( spirit being ). We must see through the eyes of Faith to believe it already has been made available in the unseen. This gives us a contented heart, a heart of faith to stay more closely with Jesus as we await the fulfillment of His will.
Asking in Faith is followed by “seeking.” To seek is to act Faith, believing that God is working out the answer slowly, but surely as we walk closely with Him. As earlier said; this gives us a contented heart, a heart of faith to stay more closely with God until we're qualified, until it's God's time to receive that which we have asked for. By doing this; we seek and walk into it when the doors are opened in due times and seasons.
What is it you're asking for? If in accordance to God's will, whatever it may be, they already have been made available, only accessible when we seek.
To seek also, is to wait on the Lord. Waiting also, is being increasingly mature in spirit as we stay always in God's presence and also building character i.e. nurturing the fruits of the spirit for they are part of the foundation that bears the weight of that which we are to receive from God. Waiting on God also, is an assessment by the holy spirit to repair and strengthen every weaknesses of the fallen nature which hinders the fullness of God in us.
Not only must we stay always in the presence, not only must we invite the presence of God through intimacy, we also must ripen our fruits of the spirit as we await in the fire that consumes our fleshly tendencies, our fallen nature for God's to overflow.
Whatever is God's will, while we wait on God for it's manifestation, as we walk and act by the holy spirit, they become to the flesh, “pain” and a fire that consumes the flesh to build a more strong spiritual man fit for God's divine will and purposes. Perseverance, to preserve is to build God's character, fixing all weaknesses being unveiled by the holy spirit to enable us have a firm foundation in Christ Jesus. We only need listen and see everything though the eyes of faith.
The strength of God in us is the Life of God dwelling in us, the life of God in our hearts is the presence of God dwelling or overflowing in us. The presence of God is “Life,” ( God's word ) how much of Jesus dominating us. When we stay in the presence of God, we take in the life of God. Taking in the life of God is giving our heart's attention to Jesus, listening and talking to Him, keeping our hearts busy in communion with Him. Just as we constantly talk in our minds always so also, out of the overflow of the heart's meditation, we should keep out thoughts fixed on Him. We should engage our hearts in communion with Jesus always as it is written; pray without ceasing.
“ Be joyful always, pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.”
[ 1Thessalonians 5:16-18 ]
“ So what shall I do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my understanding; I will sing with my spirit, but I will also sing with my understanding.”
[ 1Corinthians 14:15 ]
“ So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.”
[ Colossians 2:6-7 ]
“ Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
[ Ephesians 5:18-20 ]
This is prayer, “a relationship.” When we build on this relationship then, He'll give us what to say by His spirit. Without revelation from the holy spirit, there truly isn't prayer of faith that changes and makes things happen. We have two kinds of prayer;
- Prayer as a relationship
- Prayer of Faith; that comes as revelation by the holy spirit. This we use in the building of God's kingdom.
Prayer as a relationship is the back bone of prayer of Faith, because our reward for relationship with Jesus is power, power released by Faith in the authority of His name. The measure of love we build in intimacy will determine how much Faith we'll be entrusted to give out.
I always want to make this plain to many, giving an instance of my intimacy with Jesus.
I'll give an instance of my prayer life, one doesn't necessarily have to follow it, you can add yours if you want. Still, I believe it'll be of help. Everything in God begins with difficulty to prove our genuineness. Just ask the holy spirit to help in continuing what He has helped you started, okay. We must begin first on our own to prove our faithfulness.
- Thank you Jesus, thank you Lord
- Take more of me and give me more of you.
- in the name of Jesus, the blood of Jesus.
- Jesus ( continually )
- Locate me Lord in your mercy, locate me in your favor.
- Then I switch to spiritual songs at times.
I talk ( pray ) this continually in my heart every second. Although, at times I talk to Jesus normally as a friend, I invite Him in every little thing. Just feel comfortable with Him.
“You're my friend if you do what I command you,” so Jesus said. If we truly are His friends, we will share in His mind, His will and purpose, we'll know Him as a friend just as He said in
[ John 15:14-15 ]
How much we stay in God's presence will determine how much we'll be filled with the holy spirit to guide and direct us into all we need in preparation to usher us into the door which God has prepared for us, the door that opens to our divine destiny, our divine purpose in God's master plan.
Jesus is the way, He's the door that opens into God and In God are many rooms, buildings, what God has predestined each and everyone of us before creation. Everyone has a room, a building however, built only when we seek the kingdom and are given the blue print to rebuild that which was fallen, where God's kingdom can be established through us. Else He wouldn't promise He'd go prepare a place for us if we let Him that is, by surrendering to Him as Lord over our lives. He has gone to prepare a place, a throne, if we let Him.
You are that building, we only need to seek by His righteousness and we'll find. We cannot find unless we truly know Jesus. When we find and then open, we'll be given the blue print by revelation to build upon the foundation “Jesus.” The foundation ”Jesus” is built when we become more of a reflection as He is. This is what our trials, pains, thorns really are for, without it we cannot be drawn to Him as we bear much fruits.
Asking in faith is asking in truth, it is acting Love, our true act of worship. Only Faith pleases God, and without Love there no Faith, without Faith there's no Love. God's spirit act in and through us by Faith, only in the measure of love we have. Jesus will only be released through us to the measure of love we have. Love is selfless, it must be for God else, it'll be lust.
“Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”
[ John 15:13 ]
Anything done in faith is of heart and it is done in love. By walking In God, acting Faith and Love we build a more closely relationship with God.
Every act of faith accompanied by Love makes us more like Jesus because, Jesus ( the word ) is Faith and He is Love. The more we love, the more we're given to be released by Faith.
The greatest we can ask for is; to satisfy God's desire, for it bears fruits that last for eternity. Just as it's the greatest, it's impossible if we fail to become filled with His spirit and then baptized in the holy ghost. When we are less of Him, naturally we'll find ourselves asking for that which are temporal and also out of His will, It can't be helped, it's natural. So also it is natural to ask of His' when we're filled. Just like a five and ten year old given a dollar. Surely, the ten year old in his maturity will utilize it on what will have more lasting value than the little one.
If we know Jesus, we'll know He has provided already for our body just as He care even for the sparrows that worth only two pennies. Whenever there are restrains in our earthly desire, it's either created by us or it is allowed by God to discipline His children to be drawn closely to Him. When we love Him, we experience more of Him as we become more of Him. We cannot experience more of Jesus without becoming more of Him, it's impossible.
No one can come close to God without becoming more like Him, no one can dwell closely in the glory of God without becoming more like the source of the glory.
Our relationship with Jesus here and now is what we'll meet over there I.e. the depths of our relationship with Jesus here and now will determine the life we'll have with Him when we shall see Him face to face. To walk closely with Him here on earth is to walk also more closely with Him as it is in heaven.
Jesus loves everyone's with same Infinite love, However, we'll only experience His love in the measure of our love for Him. Seek His Love and He'll find you, run to Him and He'll run to you.
We need to be increasingly glorified through love ( death ) to be given a place closest to Him. In death therein lies glory. We're called to lay down our lives as a reflection of Jesus. As scriptures says;
“He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.”
[ Matthew 10:39 ]
The beauty of our life is the measure and degree of death we lived in Christ Jesus, that through us more of Him will be unveiled to creation. This is our eternal beauty, to walk closely with Him as we become more of Him. Only then can the spirit testifies to God's word in our hearts;
“ Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.”
[ I John 4:17 ]
The love of God is the glory of God. To bear the glory of God and to walk closely with Him is to become more of Love “God,” the source of Glory. This is our eternal reward “Relationship.” How much is your love? seek Him and you'll find Him close now and for all eternity.
