    I’ll See You Again

    By Bev Yellowley

I couldn’t wait to see you

Just a few more hours to drive

We got a call you were close to death

Let me hear your voice one more time.

    You fell into a coma

I talked to you while you slept

As the hours went by you slipped away

‘Till you took your final breath

    But, I’ll see you again

    In a place beyond compare

    Where Jesus is the King

    God’s love is everywhere

    No sorrow, no more pain

In a place of brilliant light

    Believers are all gathered there

    Never have to say goodbye

As your time on earth came to an end

Your work on earth was done

You served the Lord so faithfully

Your rewards are yet to come

When I was young you prayed with me

    Jesus forgave my sins

    He’s my Savior; I’m God’s child

    The Holy Spirit lives within

    Someday I’ll be in Heaven

    Seeing Jesus face-to-face

I’ll see you standing next to me

    And I’ll welcome your embrace

    Until our grand reunion

    I’ll serve Him faithfully

He has a work for me to do‘

Till my time on earth’s complete

God says He’ll heal our broken heart

And it comforts me to know

You’re safe in the arms of Jesus

    Now you’re finally Home.
