  1. Thanks for the suggestion of a concluding image of a happy Grace. That is helpful.
  2. I have done this technique for a while with books I need to “study.” My mind wanders when strictly reading so having the audio helps keep my mind from wandering. I can’t highlight well with the audio so I will highlight in the printed book while listening and reading along. For books I want to read through but not necessarily study, I will listen only. Acuff is great. I am glad he recommended this style. I thought I was a little OCD with it. Thanks for sharing.
  3. I am new to the forum, but I am familiar with platform building and I would definitely recommend keeping up with your blog if you want to be discovered by people who don't know you in the future. Your newsletter is a great idea to communicate with you existing followers, but new followers or future followers won't have access to that content after it is sent out. There are "nerdy" reasons for a blog, but I won't go into that. I think it mostly comes down to what you want to communicate and to whom. I hope this helps.
  4. I was a Royal Ambassador ... 30+ years ago. I was in a Southern Baptist Church at the time. I think I remember the snacks were good. It's good to hear they are still around. Here is the link to their website: https://baptistsonmission.org/programs/royal-ambassadors I have also been around churches who use AWANA - https://www.awana.org/ Hope this helps.
  5. I agree - Leah Donavan is the one I would choose. It sounds and looks great.
  6. I recently released my first Christian Children's Storybook, Broken. This self-published book is the first in a series to help parents start meaningful discipleship conversations with their young children. I have written entry-level discipleship curriculum for the my church; a desire to strengthen family discipleship in the home was birthed out of that experience. I have created a publishing brand and two imprints to help me with setting up a sustainable writer's platform. I say that to say, as I start off on this venture, I would love to hear your thoughts on my first storybo
  7. Hello ChristianWriters! I just found your website thanks to Google and I am looking forward to reading through the forums and learning from you guys. I recently released my first storybook in a series designed to help parents create discipleship conversations with their young children. I am currently writing my second storybook in that series along a family discipleship guide for parents of elementary aged to high-school aged kids.
