  1. ACFW is a great organization, well worth the money. I live in Akron, OH.

  2. Hello Tamera. I am sorry to hear you have been having so many medical issues. I will be praying for you. Yes, I joined last week (I think). I also joined the critique group. The orientation started today and I am so excited. I think this will be a good group to be apart of. I think the $65 was well worth it. Besides the fact I get to be around more fellow writer's who are also believer's. I mean what could be better than that. You must live around here somewhere. I am in Fort Knox, KY.

  3. Hi MommysAngel. I haven't done much writing lately or been online. I've been ill and have also been doing traveling for children's ministry consulting. I had surgery a week ago and had some complications. I'm just starting to feel better. Let me regain my strength and then we'll get caught up. BTW I saw you joined ACFW Ohio Valley. Very cool.

  4. Hi Tamera, I know it has been a while but I was wondering if you have done any more work on "Lost In The Storm"? Personally, I can't wait for the book to come out to be able to buy it.

  5. Tamera Thank you for becoming my friend. We were at one time but when the CW changed I lost alot of friends and workshop points. Hope all is well. Louis

  6. Awesome. I look forward to it.

  7. I'll let you know when I'm ready to post more.

  8. Well I am very anxious to be able to read that next chapter. I think you really have something here. It just grabs you and keeps you.

  9. Thanks, but it's not written yet. Lost In The Storm is a work in progress. At the moment, I'm writing chapter 5 and working out some plot points, so it might be a little while before I post more of it.

  10. I am curious if you have more chapter of Lost in the Storm. I just sat here reading chapter 1-3 after having read the prologe last night. I am really curious to know what happens in the story.

  11. I really don't have time to read it yet. This is Easter Sunday and I am teaching a conference in a week. I might get to it in a few days. I planned to, but you need to stop soliciting critiques. It's against CW rules and very annoying.

Sorry to offend you Ms. Tamera, I was just responding to your comment that you were looking forward to reading my work. I guess it was just a courtesy response and that it wasn't really meant literally. Silly me and annoyed you.

Whoops! That was smilage, I don't have you all sorted out yet - but I will remember you now, Ms. Tamera, you're the very busy one. Much too busy for my work, hopefully!

  12. Hey don't feel bad about the harsh editing of Crowned peice, it really needed it. I was laughing. Not in a mean way but your editing was right on. I try not to take other peoples editing my stuff personally but that doesn't always work. Some times I have to step back because I am too close. But better be a little harsh in a loving way then everyone say hey your peice is great and it stinks. That is what concerns me on this website whether people are just being too nice and I'll never get published. Or perhaps they're too out of touch or not experienced enough to know the demands of the publishing industry or whether they really do know what they are talking about. Anyway just wanted to tell you thank you. I know who I can go to if I am looking for some feed back on my stuff.
