  1. Good questions here. I believe sometime we have to be uncomfortable to move forward sometime, or else we would just stay where we are. Never moving forward. Praying, looking to improve and help others in our daily walk with the Lord with get us where we should be according to God will.

  2. I found this refreshing. I was just saying to myself that no matter the outcome of the election God is in control. Spot on with during uncertainty in our country, Christians are being swayed by opinions instead of Biblical truth. Gods word is always the same and is above all. You are right, let us rejoice in who we are. God is Good!

  5. Believers tend to ignore the issue of demons for many believe that these spiritual beings have little or no influence in the lives of Christians. Tragically with that display of Biblical ignorance we concede the advantage to Satan. Let me add to your correct statement, "...demons and devils can affect believers if they are not strong in their prayer life....as well as in their daily walk." Believers have authority over demonic spirits and that is through the name of Jesus! Thanks for sharing.

  6. Yes, I agree entirely with spiritual warfare! Life is a constant 24/7 battle between the Devil and ourselves, and the majority of Christians are blinded to that fact. But think about it. Peter was one of Jesus's disciples, yet when he said something contrary to what Jesus would have had him to say, Jesus rebuked the Devil to come out of him. Shouldn't we realize that demons and devils can affect believers if they are not strong in their prayer life? This is a great reminder for me to be in prayer more than ever, especially in the times that we are living in. Thank you for this.

  14. Hi MaryAnn, Thanks for sharing this post. I liked how you shaped it so that those who do not know God can take the opportunity to meet and commit their lives to him. Congratulations on obtaining First Place in the Historical Fiction Category of the 2020 Christian Indie Book Awards Contest. It's nice to come across someone who has actually won one of these book awards.

  17. You are right, we can so easily get distracted from our daily walk with the Lord. TV, phone, internet, or just tired. But, our soul suffers. Remembering the importance of making the time to grow in Gods word will feed our soul. Living a life of more joy and peace!

  18. It was not right to make accusations against Jared (or anyone's) Christianity. It appears the user deleted their account since they made their posts. I think there is nothing more to do at this time but the Moderators will keep their eyes open, and as always, feel free to Report a contentious thread or if you think someone is being attacked.

  19. I hope I do not come across as too brazen in this response, but I do take offense to that last statement that I am "not a True Christian". I do not adhere to The Watchtower's interpretation of the Bible founded by Charles Taze Russell (a known charlatan), but I adhere to the Bible, I believe Jesus is the only way to salvation, and I follow him as a Christ-follower (Christian). Here is some of the research I have done that supports what I claim above. (This is from my personal website) https://www.countertopministries.com/founder-fraud.html https://www.countertopminist

  20. Thank you @ Guest The Nonchalanté, but in my research of different faiths, beliefs, and religions, I have done some research on Jehovah's Witness, and I do not agree with some of their interpretations and beliefs. But thank you for your kind comments. As far as what is the name of my God, I don't believe he can be pigeon-toed into a name we can say with our limited tongue. He is the one and only God of the universe. The one who created all things. He has gone by many names - to Moses, he said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.
