Rather excited. Not giant news but cool news. I just found out that two anthologies I contributed to are finalists in the same category for a Selah Award. The results won't be for another three months. Anticipation angst! Had to share. ? Moments with Billy Graham Granola Bar Devotionals: Spiritual Snacks on the Go

Hopelessness and despair are repeatedly being whispered in my ear While my heart bleeds from each new emotional tear My soul cries out to God for His comfort and care As my mind wonders helplessly searching for any sight of repair Grasping onto a Hope, I know is there One, that can't be found just anywhere Squashing intentionally every embedded lie and fear Meticulously redeeming every last shed tear Reminding me of His promises and that He is always near

Michael, I had to remove your email address as bots roam this site and love to gobble them up. I hope you will edit your post and add a link so others can see what you're offering. Thank you!

Lord, @quietspirit, one of your children is sick. The helper she was caring for is also sick. Send them help and support and healing Lord. From the abundance of Your love I ask You to care for them as You have proclaimed You will do, as we have full confidence that You will do as You said. Not only for @Quiet Spiritbut for all here at CW who praise Your glory. In Jesus name; amen. You'll both be better soon.

Simple! When giving direction always say turn, give animal people and plant references, and don't forget to say y'all no matter how many people you are speaking too, and you need to insert far more word than are needed! Y'all go on out to that there road and turn. Go oh about two miles as the crow flys and turn. Follow old man Johnson's field up that clay part and turn. Now down yonder, you gonna see a cherry tree turn. Follow it up to the fork and don't turn down the to old lady Mary's house or you going to be on the wrong side of her barrel. It's really easy to find. Couldn't miss it if you tried.

@Lucian Hodoboc, I can’t imagine how hard it is to cope with tanathophobia and hypochondria. My heart goes out to you. When I’m distressed, I try to meditate on the Scriptures. Here’s a few verses that might help: Isaiah 53: 5 “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” 1 Corinthians 15: 54-55 “So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.” 2 Timothy 1:10 “But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel”. Hebrews 2: 14-15 “Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.” Revelation 21:4 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes: and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Okay, I should stop before I quote the whole Bible right here... I’ll be praying for you, Lucian!
