    Saying hello

    Hello, I'm Lazarusrizing.

I'm primarily a playwright. I am unproduced. I joined ChristianWriters because I sought to learn if any of my work would dishonor God in some way.

My major influences are Rod Serling (creator and writer for the original Twlight Zone), Arthur Miller (Death of a Salesman, Crucible), Alan Moore (Watchmen), and the talented writers of Batman books and films. My favorite genre of films are dramas and superhero.

My work tends to deal with God, the supernatural, faith and injustice. While I have an interest in the occult and supernatural, I don't glorify or justify those aspects of my work above God and the Truth. I'm interested in telling compelling stories that show God's Truth. My protagonists are usually decent and kind-hearted human beings who rise above vicious persecution. I know personally what it's like to be hated by non-Christian and Christian a like, so it's a passion.

I recently discovered through casual research an agenda by secret societies to move the population into a New World Order. While this may sound like fantasy, what I've seen and what I've read is too outright to call it fiction. It dramatically deepened my faith in Christ. I find that much of what I've learned is lining up with what Jesus said about the end times. Media, film and music are being used to indoctrinate people to a masonic way of thought, therefore, I have become especially sensitive to the kind of work I put out for my audience.

My hope is to perhaps one day follow the model that Tyler Perry has done with his plays. I just want to tell my stories. Whether it be to 200 people or 2,000,000. It hasn't been easy because I have struggled with discouragement for many, many years. Your prayers, advice and friendship will be most appreciated and returned. God bless you and protect you all.

    Peace,

    LZR
