Inspirational Book of Poetry

I have been writing since I was 14 and poetry since I was around sixteen, and have written alot of poetry about Friendship and Faith in the years since I have been Saved, and now I am trying to find a publisher who is intrested in publishing a book of poetry the main theme being Friendship, and how God blesses us with that wonderful gift! If anyone has any ideas or suggestions please let me know!

I know how tough it is to find a publisher, I've been looking for one for a few years. I write christian poetry, mainly love, and scripture based, and some fictional. Can you please let me know if you find a publisher? There are not many looking for poets. Thank you. By the way visit poetry.com and get some of your poetry published in anthologies, they don't pay you, but they copyright your work and you retain the rights, it's free.

I understand you need an publishing company to publish your book?
well maybe I can give you tips what you can publish. and give you some place that you could send your actually finished product or manscipt to and publish it.


first what I am blessed to be able to do is through God and for the grace of God.
without him I wouldn't have made it thus far.

ok if you would like to design your own paperback 5x7 booklet of poems

1. computer
2. inkjet printer or laser printer
3. software-- printshop or printmaster, word perfect or word publisher,Arobat Reader
4. use multipurpose paper --- thick
5. glossy or photo quality paper for covers
6. purchase an booklet specific stapler range from $28.00 and up or binding machine $65.00 and up-- depending on size of book buy at stapler or circuitycity even supply place.
7. disc to save and backup work
8 combos or staples
9. copyright your work through library of congress once completed

first if you doing an 5x7 booklet get printmaster or printshop and click on the option you doing like say booklet from this point you may half to click help once you have tact the starting point of add text and graphics.
print out the cover onto specific glossy paper include copyright date
print out from inkjet printer separate sheets , make sure print is set on text and graphics or it won't print it .
once you have your pages use your booklet stapler put two within the booklet and you done.

for 8x10 books

1. type up one separate sheet by scroll down after each poem
2. add graphic if adding or borders
3. save as title book
4. have title any way you like to design it rare an logo banner etc
5. once done add copyright and site if you selling online yourself.
6. save and if using word perfect for example go to file and down to publish to PDF
7 click to save as PDF means Acrobat Reader may have do an few time until right
8 this saves it and will be easier to print out and you can sell on disc version as well
9. print cover on photo paper first individual
10 once one page is print flip for the next poem on other side do until all are counted for.
11. once done take binding machine and bind books and you have your own book send off to library of congress. or send to your chossen publisher to consider publishing it or sell on ebay.
